ASTM A249 TP316 is a standard specification for high-pressure boiler and heat exchanger tubes that are designed with 316 austenitic stainless steel. The ASTM A249 TP316 Tube is manufactured with a superior composition consisting of 16% chromium with 10% nickel and 2% of molybdenum. The content embedded within these tubes gives them excellent resistance to reducing and corrosive media. The ASTM A 249 TP316 Stainless Steel Seamless Tube is designed to work in high-temperature setups. A seamless tube doesn’t have any welds allowing it to showcase enhanced strength and load-bearing capacity in the system.
The ASME SA249 Grade 316 Welded Tubing is a pressurized grade that is designed by rolling pieces of sheet and strips followed by welding them in place using filler material. After the welding process, the tubes are subject to testing to ensure that they can be used in harsh environments. The versatile A249 Type 304 welded tube is cheaper than a seamless tube and is very durable. These tubes have excellent mechanical properties and are designed in sizes of 24 inches or more. The ASTM A249 Uns S31600 ERW Tube is a unique module that is produced after a high voltage electric current is passed through the metal to weld it longitudinally. The robust modules are produced without the requirement of filler material to weld them in place. SA 249 TP 316L cold drawn ERW Tubing are processed at room temperature soon after the tubes are hot rolled. As they are run over dies this tubing has an excellent surface finish with outstanding strength.
