The ASTM A270 TP304 grade covers standard specifications of sanitary modules. Designed with an austenitic composition the ASTM A270 TP304 Tube is manufactured with a superior composition of nickel and chromium. The outstanding content in these tubes gives them enhanced resistance to corrosive and reducing media across stress-induced environments. The ASTM A270 TP304 Tubing has excellent tolerance to oxidative media and showcases enhanced workability and strength. These tubes have good formability and can have threaded, beveled, and plain ends.
The A270 Type 304 grade is generally produced in seamless and welded configurations. The A270 Type 304 Seamless Sanitary Tubing is manufactured via the extrusion process, where hot steel billets are passed through the metal to precisely shape them in the correct dimensions. Designed without welds or seams, these tubes have higher strength and load-bearing capacity compared to the ASTM A270 TP304 Stainless Steel Welded Sanitary Tubing. The welded tubing is; however, cheaper in comparison to seamless tubes and can be shaped in different sizes, which is not possible with the latter. The ASME SA270 Grade 304 Welded Tube is produced as sheets or strips are rolled and subsequently welded in an array of shop welding procedures. The pressurized vessel modules are subject to several tests and screening procedures before they become fit for use in these extreme conditions. ASME SA270 Gr 304 Welded Tube has a long service life and doesn’t deteriorate under any harsh environmental conditions. These tubes can be available in sizes above 12 inches or cut sizes.
