ASTM A312 TP304L Pipe

The ASTM A312 TP304L grade is a low-carbon austenitic grade of steel. ASTM A312 TP304L Pipe is designed with a superior composition of nickel and chromium, giving these pipes enhanced resistance against corrosive and oxidative media. These pipes have enhanced strength and can work in high-temperature setups. The A312 Grade 304L Pipe is designed with a thickness between 0.6mm up to 12.7mm. The pipes are very robust and can be availed in an array of sizes. These pipes are designed in schedules, where SA 312 TP 304L schedule 40 Pipe is utilized in carrying low to moderate pressures and temperatures. These pipes are very durable and can be used in different applications. The ASTM A312 Grade 304L Round Pipe is utilized in the transportation of fluids and gases efficiently and effectively over long periods of time.

The ASTM A312 TP304L grade is produced in seamless, welded, and erw types. A SA 312 TP 304L Seamless Pipe is designed with an extrusion process as hot steel billets are passed through metal to shape them in correct dimensions. The versatile grade of pipes doesn’t have any welds or seams, giving these modules higher strength and 20% higher load-bearing capacity compared to other pipes in this grade. The ASME SA312 Type 304L Welded Pipe is a cost-effective alternative to the seamless pipes. The pipes are produced as strips or sheets are rolled followed by welding them in place using standard welding procedures. These modules are tested before they are subject to high pressure and temperature applications. AISI 304L ERW Pipes are manufactured by welding pipes longitudinally in place as a high voltage current is passed through the pipe without any requirement of filler material.
