The A312 TP316 belongs to an austenitic grade of stainless steel alloys. ASTM A312 TP316 is manufactured with a superior composition of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, allowing them to be used across different industries. The ASME SA312 Gr 316 Seamless Pipe is a pressurized vessel grade that is produced through an extrusion process. In this process, here hot steel billets are passed through the metal to shape them in sizes up to 24 inches. The absence of welds or seams in the ASME SA 312 TP316 Seamless Pipe gives them excellent load-bearing capacity and strength. These pipes work well in high-temperature setups and are very expensive compared to the ASTM A312 TP316 Stainless Steel Welded Pipe. A welded pipe grade is produced as strips or sheets are rolled followed by welding them in place using standard welding procedures. The versatile A312 Type 316 Welded Pipes are preferred in moderate to low temperature and pressure applications. These pipes are designed in sizes between 1/8 to 36 NB and lengths above 24 inches. The A312 Type 316 Erw Pipe is a component that is produced after a high voltage electric current is passed through the metal to weld it longitudinally.
