The ASTM A554 grade covers standard specifications for stainless steel mechanical tubing. The ASTM A554 tube is designed with a superior chemical composition consisting of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, silicon, chromium, and nickel. The content in these tubes gives them enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media. An SA554 Stainless Steel Tubing has excellent mechanical properties. These tubes have a minimum tensile strength of 75ksi with a minimum yield strength of 30ksi and can be elongated by 35% in the system. The tubes can be designed as square or rectangular shapes. The ASME SA554 SS Square Tubing is run over dies and then welded in place. This tubing can be also produced in seamless configurations. They are designed for use in high-temperature and pressure applications. SA554 SS Rectangular Tubes have enhanced stability and are designed with unequal rectangular cross sections. These tubes are very strong and can be availed in different sizes to meet product requirements. The ASTM A554 Ornamental Tubes is a shiny and aesthetically appealing grade that has excellent strength and durability. These tubes offer a perfect choice to replace traditional products for different applications. They are a common feature in 304 and 316 grades of steel.
