An ERW pipe is produced by passing high-voltage current to longitudinally weld the piping component. The Stainless Steel ERW Pipe is generally designed with a maximum outer diameter of 609mm. Containing good content of chromium, they have good corrosion and oxidation resistance properties. These pipes are used in the transportation of fluids and gases across different channels. Stainless Steel EFW Pipe is seen only in the high-frequency welding process. They are generally used in welding dissimilar welding material in place at high temperatures.
A Stainless Steel Welded Pipe is produced by rolling pieces of sheet or strip followed by welding them in place, making use of standard welding procedures. These pipes are utilized for moderate to low-pressure systems and are available at affordable rates. A Schedule 40 Welded Stainless Steel Pipe is amongst the most common schedule of pipe within this grade. These pipes allow for moderate to low pressure movement and transfer in the system. The Schedule 80 SS Welded Pipe, on the contrary, has a slightly higher pressure holding capacity, allowing it to process higher volumes of fluids and gases than the schedule 40 pipe. A Large Diameter Stainless Steel Welded Pipe is utilized in the construction of structural modules that are used in oil and gas, structural module applications. These pipes are generally welded in ERW, SSAW, or LSAW welding process. In a Stainless Steel Spiral Welded Pipe, an inert gas weld overlay is used to create a continuous penetration in the metal to create a strong weld. The welding process eliminates any distortion of the component due to unbalanced stress that may be induced during normal welding procedures.
